What is GVIVE®

GVIVE® is an online Identity Verification System that integrates with ID database systems enabling real-time verification to curb identity theft, manage and avoid fraudulent activities. Our Identity Verification System offers financial and other institutions, the ability to authenticate ID cards customers present to them before agreeing to transact business with the bearer at the initial point of contact.

GVIVE® is a web-based system that can be accessed on any device connected to the internet. This makes the application easily accessible to all authorized users. Bsystems has collaborated with the Electoral Commission, Passport Office, Driver Vehicle Licensing Authority and Social Security and National Insurance Trust to bring the Biometric Voter ID, Biometric Passport, Driver Licence and Biometric SSNIT ID online.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What should I do if I forget my password?

If you forget your password, go on to the login page and click below “Forgot your password?” Enter your email address and you will receive an email to reset your password.

2. What should I do if GVIVE reports “Sorry No person was found with the ID” when a customer presents a “valid” ID card?

In most cases when a customer data is not found we advise the client to report this issue to their administrator, if further assistance is needed contact Bsystems. However, if it is an ID card that was recently issued and you can check this by referring to the registration date on the card. It is possible the customers’ data has not been loaded into the system as data on new card issuance is loaded periodically into the database.

3. What if the polling station number on the voter's ID card does not match what is displayed on the portal?

Discrepancies in the polling station numbers are most likely attributed to the fact that the Electoral Commission has divided some polling stations due to large number of people at that polling center. This has resulted in the polling station number on the voter ID issued at time of registration to differ from what is displayed by GVIVE. In this scenario, a customer may have a voter ID card with a polling station number C080401 but when this card is verified the polling station number might be C080401A or C080401B or C080401C (the alphabets suffixed indicates that this particular polling center has been sub-divided into three or more centers).

4. How do I check who verified a particular ID card?

If you are interested in finding out who was responsible for a particular ID card verified, kindly inform your branch administrator or institution administrator. The administrator can print a report on verified IDs.
